Who we are
Vamp Network (“we”, “us”) runs a community of UGC creators and connects them with brand campaigns. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
You can reach us at info@vampnetwork.com, or by post at Vamp Network, Palm Springs, California, United States.
Information we collect
Nearly everything we hold about you is information you typed into an application form. We do not buy personal information about you, and we do not track you across other websites.
When you apply as a creator, we collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and country
- Your social media handles
- Details about your work — your niche, how often you post, your audience, your current earnings from brand deals, and how many inbound brand enquiries you get
- A sample video you upload, or a link to your content
- Anything you choose to write in the free-text answers
When you enquire as a brand, we collect:
- Your name, role, company, website, email address, phone number, and country
- Details about your business — revenue, ad spend, content spend, the platforms you advertise on, and what you are looking for from creators
Some of this is commercially sensitive, particularly the earnings and revenue figures. We treat it as confidential and use it only to assess your application.
How we use your information
- To review your application and decide whether to work with you
- To contact you about your application, including by email
- To match creators with suitable brand campaigns
- To operate, secure, and improve this website
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with advertisers.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use this site — which pages are read, and where people drop out of the application flow. This helps us improve the site. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, we ask for your consent before any analytics cookies are stored on your device. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which will cause us to ask again.
To decide whether to ask you for consent, our host checks which country your connection comes from. This happens in transit and we do not store your IP address for this purpose.
Separately, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our application forms from automated abuse. This is strictly necessary to keep the forms working and is not used to track you across sites.
Who we share your information with
We share your information only with the service providers that run this site and process applications on our behalf. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
- Supabase — stores your application and any file you upload
- Resend — sends application and approval emails
- Netlify — hosts this website
- Cloudflare — protects our forms from automated abuse
- Google Analytics — website analytics, only where you have consented if consent is required
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
If we do not take your application forward, we keep it for 12 months from the date you applied, then delete it. We keep it for that period so we can reconsider you if you reapply or your circumstances change.
If we do work with you, we keep your information for as long as our relationship lasts, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.
Where your information is stored
We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. Your application and any file you upload are held on servers in Ohio, United States (AWS us-east-2).
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, this means your information is transferred outside your country. Our providers are contractually bound to protect it and may only use it to provide their service to us.
[TODO — legal copy needed: Confirm the DPAs with Supabase and Resend are signed, then name the transfer mechanism (likely Standard Contractual Clauses).]
Your rights
Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we will action it.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area
Although we are based in the United States, we offer our services to creators in the UK and EEA, so the UK GDPR and EU GDPR apply to you. You have the right to access your information, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent — as we do for analytics cookies — you can withdraw it at any time.
We process your application because it is in our legitimate interests to assess people who apply to work with us, and because doing so is a step toward entering into a contract with you at your request. We process analytics data only with your consent.
You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
If you are in California
You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion, and to correct it. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Security
Applications are stored in an access-controlled database, and files you upload go to a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible. Only the Vamp Network team can view them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
You must be 18 or older to apply to Vamp Network. This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If you believe someone under 18 has sent us their information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
